Yes, my life is wild and crazy! You try living in a house with a hubby and 5 kids. There is NEVER a dull moment. Except maybe when they are all in bed. We run to school activities, run to after school activities, there's girl scouts, boy scouts, volleyball, basketball...etc it just goes on an on. But you know what? One day I will look back and miss it all and wonder what am I going to do today? LOL

Wedding Rings?
Some may find this post weird but it bothers me. Sunday while in Sunday school class I was noticing how many people wore wedding rings and how many people didn't. Guess that is a weird thing to be noticing when I'm suppose to be listening and learning about God. Our class consisted of 9 people all of who are married. Out of those 9 people only 3 people had wedding rings on....2 of which were me and my husband. Why do people choose not to wear their wedding rings? My wedding ring is very special to me and it shows that I am special to someone else being my husband who put that ring on my finger 6 years ago. My husband also wear his ring, which makes me so proud. My wedding ring rarely comes off my finger. I normally take it off while I shower and do my hair but it goes right back on my finger when I finish putting the gel in my hair. I might take it off if I'm outside working in my flower bed or when me and my husband are working our cows. But, once I'm done.....my ring goes right back on my finger. To my that ring has a very special meaning not only to me but to God. That ring was put on my finger while my husband and I were making promises to God. The ring is a never ending circle....a circle that is not to be broken. It shows others that hey that guy or girl is taken....married!!! I know that some jobs require that you do not wear rings but why not put that ring back on when you aren't on the job? I'd like to hear from all of you.....why do some people choose not to wear their wedding ring(s)?

Josh doesn't wear his because his finger out grew it and we've not taken the time to have it resized or the $$ to buy a new one. I wear a "subsitute" ring because the diamond fell out of mine...um see $$ comment above to see why it's not fixed =( But I do agree I think wedding rings are important and special!!!
Well, I can't remember if I had my ring on Sunday, but I am guessing not. I don't intentionally NOT wear mine, but, with 4 kids, If I DO take it off, I ALWAYS put it up, out of sight and reach of the kids. Some days, when I get busy I forget to put it back on. Kevin, on the other hand, has worn his ring every single day of the last 13 years of our marriage minus MAYBE 5 days that he forgot to put it on after his shower. I agree that it is a symbol of your love and commitment, but, I don't think that it is awful that some don't wear them. Most people I know that don't wear them, have a reason. Damaged, too small, too big....
Also, as I tote along 4 children EVERYWHERE I go, I think it definitely known that I am taken...and If not, no one else would want me anyway! LOL
My reason for not wearing my ring is very simple.... arthritis! Sometimes the swelling is down enough that I can get it on without the fear of not being able to get it back off, but often it is not. My ring is also very special to me. When I lost the diamond years ago, hubby wanted to get me a new ring. I'd have nothing to do with that. It had to be the same simple band with the same small type diamond that we were able to afford 39 years ago. If it was good enough then, it is good enough now.
